Ken Jacobus

CEO & Founder

Ken is passionate about proving business can be a powerful force for good for people and the planet. He believes that global environmental and social justice starts with every individual in every community taking positive actions. After a 20 year career in technology and media sales in New York and San Francisco, he’s very happy to call New Hampshire his home. He loves biking, coffee, food, yoga, and exploring the world with his wife and children.

Account Manager

Cash has a Master's degree in Public Administration from Suffolk University with a specialization in non-profit management and leadership. Cash left a eighteen-year career in the public sector helping vulnerable populations and doing fundraising work for local non-profits, to pursue work for one of his other major passions, the environment.Outside of work Cash lives in Manchester, NH with his wife and they are expecting their first child in Fall '18. In his free time Cash enjoys pursuing a variety of hobbies and passions, including being an avid skier, surfer, and part-time bartender. He loves being outside, and has an extensive cactus collection.

Julia Hyndman

Client Services

Growing up, Julia was always passionate about the environment which blossomed into her dedication to sustainability. Julia has traveled around the country in search of a company that shares her desires and interests, her past experience ranges from the hospitality industry where she worked for a Farm to Table restaurant in Florida to time spent WWOOFing on an organic goat farm in California. Eventually, this road lead her back home to NH and Good Start Packaging! Outside of work, Julia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, making natural skincare products and volunteering for organizations focused on different social issues. She loves being outside and spends much of her free time hiking, mountain biking, and skiing.

Doreen Chaisson

Doreen Chaisson

Office Manager

Doreen earned her Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting and Film from Boston University and spent 14 years working behind the scenes in broadcast television. She then shifted direction and had a successful career in the financial services industry. She joined Good Start after tiring of the corporate world and wanting to pursue a career with a company whose mission benefits the greater good. Doreen enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and 2 children, volunteering at animal shelters, and spoiling her dogs and cats. She’s an avid reader, and loves to spend time outdoors puttering in her gardens, kayaking, and making her own maple syrup.

Victor Lemay

Director of Operations

Victor joined Good Start in early 2019 bringing his 30+ years in business operations experience. From learning to count by banding dollar bills in the family businesses as a child to building a national business employing 600, he has been part of every aspect of a business operation. He is an Air Force veteran and has been married for 34 years to the love of his life, Lise, and they have 2 grown sons.

Evan Geddes

Senior Account Manager

Evan lives in Nashua, NH with his wife and two young children. Evan graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Marketing. After years of long commutes to Boston as a Digital Operations Manager in both the sports radio and high tech fields, he decided to pursue a career that was closer to home and more personally rewarding. Given his love for the environment and the ways we can improve it, Good Start was a perfect fit. He is active in the community as a Boys Club volunteer as well as a Little League and Biddy basketball Coach. In his free time, Evan enjoys traveling, skiing, golfing and hiking.

Erin

Erin Turner

Client Services

Erin is in the process of completing a B.A. in Communication, with a minor in Outdoor Education at the University of New Hampshire. Throughout her studies, she developed a focus in Sustainable Community Development.She is an avid rock climber and trail runner, who enjoys surfing and hiking as well. Erin also works as an Experiential Educator with inner-city schools on a challenge course in Kensington, New Hampshire. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, gardening and travelling.

Michele Lash

Marketing Director

Michele came to Good Start Packaging to combine her 20+ years of digital marketing experience with her B.S. degree in Environmental Science. She is inspired by healthy living, good food, and promoting sustainability. While originally from Pittsburgh, PA, she loves living in N.H. and what the area has to offer (but will always be a Steelers fan). Outside of work, she can be found making avocado ice cream and training for triathlons.

Client Service Manager

Heather has a Bachelor’s Degree in English and has had a successful career in Office Management & Administration. She is committed to healthy living, and has spent the last six years as a Fitness Instructor helping people reach their individual wellness goals. She loves working with people, empowering others, and finding creative answers to tough problems. When she isn’t working, Heather loves hanging out with her husband and two little girls. On weekends you can find her outside running with her dog, reading on the couch or trying out a new healthy recipe!

Courtney Hawkins

Client Services

Courtney is a recent graduate from the University of Rhode Island where she received her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics and B.A. in Biology, in addition to being a member of the university's cross country and track and field teams. She is now pursuing her MBA in Sustainability and Environmental Compliance at Southern New Hampshire University with the desire to make a difference in the world.Outside of work, Courtney volunteers as a high school cross country coach, and trains for marathons, mountain races, and road races. She enjoys spending her free time hiking, biking, running, and adventuring with her friends.

Joe Harvey

Executive Assistant

Jo joined the Good Start team after taking the nontraditional route to complete her education. She returned to school to earn a B.A. in Environmental Science and Policy after raising her two daughters and spending 13 years as a small business owner. She strives to pursue and support sustainable options both in her personal and professional life. When she is out of the office, Jo loves spending time with her family for the occasional game night along with lots of good, home-cooking. She also looks forward to any chance for exploring new places through hiking or traveling
